Keith’s professional corporate experience covers many aspects of corporate management, contract management, and business development relating to the information technology field.
Keith’s excellent problem solving skills, allow him to find creative solutions to challenges arising from managing relationships from clients, vendors and personnel. As a manager Keith has worked with people with diverse skills sets to create strong, cohesive and efficient teams, leading them to achieve targets and deliverables.
As a business development manager Keith identified new business opportunities and potential business partners needed to expand and increase sales and revenue. Keith developed frameworks and matrices used to quickly identify potential clients and partners qualifying specific areas such as potential exposure and risks, ramp up time, and expected return on investment. Using these skills and abilities Keith successfully identified and developed relationships resulting in 20% growth in business per year for his employers.
Keith communicate easily with people, from senior executives to end users, and possess the ability to effectively discuss issues with all stake holders in terms that allow all involved to come to a complete understanding of the issues and potential solutions.
Keith’s strong presentation skills have allowed him to deliver seminars and product demonstrations to thousands of people, bringing the concepts and audience together for a holistic understanding.
With a lifelong involvement in graphic design, Keith is well versed in leading design software, notably Adobe’s premiere design suite, and has created branding ideas, brochures, posters, and presentation panels; laid out books and graphic novels; and developed web sites.

Xist
Keith conducted a review of Xist, a knowledge management firm, corporate governance’s structure and developed a series of initiatives for its improvement. As well he developed a hiring strategy for new sales personnel, compensation plans and an overall marketing and sales plan to prepare Xist for their planned expansion.
Health Canada, Centre for Surveillance Coordination (CSC)
Keith was asked to conduct several assignments for this client. This included market research, developing and implementing an evaluation criterion, identifying potential surveillance software for the Mother-Net, and Prodtox projects; conducting a detailed analysis of the CSC business processes and surveillance requirements. The outcome of this work prompted CSC to change their software reuse policies.
Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade
Keith was contracted to conduct primary research into Canada’s foreign policy and branding initiatives, as they relate to trade, science and technology, culture and education resulting in the successful bid to evaluate the success of a major trade event in Japan

Tu ‘n Fro The Motion in Life
Tu ‘n Fro is a graphic workbook used to educate school aged children about the perils of drug use and bullying. Working with the author Curtis Bell, Keith designed and laid out and made press ready the 100 page workbook. Development included creating all the illustrations used throughout the book with the exception of the title characters. Several thousand were printed and are still used in various southern Ontario school boards.

Employment Equity and Diversity Management : A Tip Book
Employment Equity and Diversity Management: is a work book created by Lauren Nancoo to deal with equity and diversity issues in the public service. Keith’s role was to layout the book, design the cover and make it press ready.

Kickflip was an international management consulting company. Keith developed their website utilizing CSS and Flash. This included development and capture of images, overall site layout and all photographs.

In his 8 years with AJJA Keith rose steadily through the organization holding various positions including the executive role of director, product and education services. These positions included business analysis, business development, corporate management, strategic relations and spokesperson.
Keith’s mandate was to develop new business, sales opportunities and territory for AJJA’s product line and professional consulting services. Responsibilities include market research to determine market requirements and competition, selection of base technologies and vendor alliances, and development of business cases to support initiation of new alliances and partnerships.
Some highlights:
Contract Management
Responsible for contract administration, which included writing responses to RFP’s converting the proposals into contracts and contract negotiation and ongoing contract administration. Contracts varied in sizes from $25 000.00 to $5 000 000.00 lasting from 3 months to 3 years.
Business Development
Identified, opened and developed key corporate accounts, including NSERC, Mitel, HRDC, and Department of National Defense. Identified and fulfilled requirements to these accounts providing application design solutions from vendors such as Microsoft, Sybase, Rational and Allaire. Service delivery included placement of project managers, business analysts and Internet/intranet enterprise application developers for the purpose of developing and rolling out new applications.
Strategic relations
Identified internet application server market as next growth area for AJJA, entered into partnership with Allaire Corp, then a largely unknown application server vendor. Developed strategy’s for product introduction and opportunity development in Ottawa area, resulting in Allaire’s Cold Fusion Server becoming de-facto standard at organizations such as Nortel, Mitel, PWGSC, HRDC and others.
Spokesperson
As a comfortable and confident public speaker Keith created content and delivered hundreds of speaking engagements, product demonstrations, technology updates to audiences as small as 30 and as large as 5000.

Cube Systems, presently Winsoft Software, developed Finesse F and FinCad engineering software for the construction industry. In 1992 Cube systems sold the rights of the Finesse product line to the Portland Cement Association who now markets the product as PCA Frame.
Some highlights:
Developed marketing strategy to increase exposure of the product, identifying niche markets and exploiting them, while established a sales channel with partners in the US, Europe and the midddle-east.
Assisted principals in the negotiations and sale of the licensing rights for Finesse/f and FinCad, to PCA.
Issued bug reports and managed testing phases between builds.
